Why we built this
The voice that makes everything okay.
Every parent knows the feeling. A work trip, a late meeting, a flight home that's been delayed. Your child is in their bedroom, waiting for the story that marks the end of the day — and you're not there to tell it. The void left by a parent's absence at bedtime is one of the quiet heartaches of modern family life. Children find comfort in voices they love most, not the words themselves, but the warmth, the familiar cadence, the way a mother laughs at a particular line.
Lumina was built to preserve that. Give us five minutes — a short recording onboarding that captures your voice reading a handful of passages — and we learn not just how you sound, but how you tell a story. The warmth when a character is kind. The suspense before the reveal. The way you always slow down at the good parts. Then we read any story in your voice. On the nights you can't be there, your child still hears you.
